Hi guys,

So all of my parts came from ocUK very quick and happy with delivery,

Stage 1 of my build is complete, stage 2 tomorrow when my CPU and ethernet cable arrives. Honestly I wish i had just purchased them from here. But hay ho, nevermind.

I've only just realised I've got an European or American kettle power lead, how do I go about getting the correct UK kettle lead foe the PSU unit?

I only happened to realise as my AOC 31.5 2k monitor had both in the box and thought to myself oh that's cool.

Was kinda hoping to finish the build and then software stuff tomorrow but without that no power, unsure if I'm able to just buy one as it may be quicker, do I bother to raise a ticket request and wait or do I just go out and buy one tomorrow? Will I need to undo the whole build to send back the psu for the correct lead?

Thanks for the replies, I have submitted an online Web request mentioning pretty much the same as I did in my OP.

May I ask, why do you doubt that they don't inspect their own stock they purchase, surly they have someone in public relations who checkes all things are legal and fine, I'll admit I think it was a sealed box, but can't remember I've opened so many boxes today lol, also not to mention a legal team as Grimley pointed out the issues with said competitor in the article he posted.

I guess they're not so bothered about others who are wiling to moan at the drop of a hat, I'm happy to not moan and complain too much. Just was getting hangry as it's almost set up PSU and all lol.

If I do have to disassemble it all to request and RMA well I won't be happy at all. But saying thay if they can send me the correct lead it'll take till Monday or Tuesday for it to come and again I won't be happy with that, other than me going to get one tomorrow after I drop my daughter's back is for me best case quick scenario,

I appreciate the posts and I don't want to be an A hole at all. It's not in my nature. I'm just frustrated, I'm about to take my evening antispycotics so ill be in bed soon anyway and all calm lol

Just an update, I'm being sent one should be here Monday, less than 3 minutes on the phone and all sorted.

Still a happy customer regardless, but for anyone else buying the Bitfenix Formula Series 550W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply (CA-22Y-BX) make sure you check ASAP so you don't have to wait too long eager beaver or not lol
