Hi Guys

The BitFenix Prodigy is our favourite case here at OcUK. We literally sell thousands of them, you guys love them, we love them.

The prodigy has had many guises in an array of custom colour combinations but from our feedback, we know that some customers also want the cleverly designed Prodigy Chassis without the stylised handles...

The Phenom answers this and makes way for a truly stunning addition to the BitFenix Range. The same generous Prodigy featureset and easy to build chassis design but with subtle, sleek curves and smooth edges.

Phenom is packed with small touches that make using and owning a BitFenix chassis an experience. From the slick powder coated interior, to the rolled-edge cable pass-throughs and quick-release dust filters, Phenom embodies the BitFenix experience through and through.

The Phenom case is available in the classic Mini ITX format and the newer Micro ATX format also.

There is room for a 5.25" bay, but only because the internals are just the same as the Prodigy/Prodigy M. Similarly, the M also has mounting holes for a 200mm fan in the front, even though your PSU will prevent you from installing one.

It comes with an adapter that allows you to use the 5.25" bay to fit an extra HDD or SSD.

you should still be able to fit an optical if you want though.

the adapter actually lets you fit one of each of the drives up there.

You'd have to chop a hole in the front of the case for it to work. You'd also sacrifice space that could have been used for a second GPU.

Don't think Asetek sell directly to consumers. Their products get rebranded as, for example, Corsair h80's. Any 120mm cooler will fit in the back.

yeh that one looks rather thick.

just wondered if it was the same thickness as the h80.

asetek. thats it. i was thinking the logo was some crazy letter. casetek aasetek etc.

Think Linus did an unboxing vid for both iterations of it recently. Seems they share a lot of the internals with the Prodigy, though not always in a good way. I'd strongly consider them if I was going for an ITX or mATX build now.
