nice comp again bitfenix. i'll sit this one out though as i was lucky enough to win a set of alchemy cables on the comp run in co-op with OcUK and Vortez a while back, and wouldn't want to deprive someone the opportunity to get a hold of these cracking cables, but will certainly be checking out the pics and voting.

thinking this could be quite entertaining, epsecially when a few of the less well tidied efforts make an appearance!!

Still got the horrible cheap braided stuff that comes with the PSU, hate having those coloured wires exposed.

Has that had any mods? Cap tube length tuned? Re-gassed?

i had it re gassed ages ago.. i cant remember what was used tho :confused:

i know it got down to minus 60... i also lapped the head which was a VERY risky thing to do on these but it payed off

Yeah I lapped mine, plus had the cap tube lengthened and regassed with r507.

thats the stuff!!! only thing that annoyed me is the noise it made... somehow i ran it 24/7 in my bedroom :eek:

what cpu were you running when you had yours?

The newest CPU I had mine on was a Q6600, although it didn't really cope too well with that, typically running above freezing, which wasn't doing it any favours.

Before that I had an E2140 Pentium Dual-Core (C2D based thing) running at 3.4GHz (up from 1.6GHz stock

) running well below freezing, even at load.
