hey all

I decided after some deliberation that i wanted to build a small rig again.

So i found the Bitfenix Prodigy!

Looking at it i found it plainly obvious that it would be very easy to fit water cooling in without any modding, so let the build log begin!

Everyone likes a parts list so here we go!

Things i will keep from previous build:
i7 2600k
Samsung green 8GB
Asus DirectCU2 7970 (with EK block)
XFX Pro1000W Platinum PSU <- Will be too long by far for this case!
Scyth Fan controller

New Stuff:
Bitfenix Prodigy Black
ASRock Z77E-ITX Motherboard <- Will allow me to upgrade cpu in future if required
new 3/8 fittings and blue tube
Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 240mm Dual Radiator : Full Copper
Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 120mm Single Radiator : Full Copper
Bitfenix 230 x 200 x 30mm Spectre PRO Black With White LED Case Fan
Bitfenix 120 x 120 x 25mm Spectre Black with Blue LED Case Fan x 3

The total Expenditure inc barbs was £204 Inc P&P for the Wcing and case.
And i managed to snag the motherboard for £100 from Amazon EU.

I feel i will be able to sell my FT02, Magicool 180x3 and Asrock P67 extreme 6 for a tidy sum as well, so the expenditure will be much lower.

The case and Wcing are due to arrive next week, And the Motherboard on 5th feb, I wont be starting to build till well after that date as i need to send my 7970 back to OCUK as its DVI-D port displays green flashing pixels.. truth be told i was supposed to do that months ago but due to needing a working pc for uni i haven't had the down time to wait weeks for it to come back.

Will Update when case arrives, will do a rad fitment!

peace and love

I have a Silverstone FT02 also and thinking about changing over to a BF Prodigy case.

:D
the FT02 is a Super case, But i have had it for a good while.

I have also come to the stage where i don't care as much as i used to about seeing the insides and how warm it gets, i want Silence and something i can move when required.
