So I have downgraded from my Antec 1200 full ATX machine to a M-ITX build using the BitFenix Prodigy.

For the build I am using:

Foxconn H67S
Intel Core i3-2100
Corsiar H100 with Gentle Typhoon 1850s
Antec TruePower New 650W
2x4GB of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz
MSI GTX 560Ti Twin Frozr II
Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD & Crucial 256GB M4 SSD

I know the H100 is a bit overkill but I wanted one :p

In my haste to get started I forgot to take some pics as I dismantled the HDD cages and ODD bay, I have also moved the front fan to the roof

I plan to put my H100 in the front.

Will upload some more pics in the morning.

So I have put my two SSD drives in.

I mounted them to the PSU cage as hopefully this will help to keep things tidy.

I have also added my PSU in.

It's not too bad this side with the power cables, just the 24pin and 6pin GPU cables......

A bit messier this side as everything else is here, but as you'll never see it I'm not that bothered. Will probably get a modular PSU if it ever dies.

Next I will be adding the mounting plate for the H100 to the motherboard, installing the motherboard onto the tray and going about mounting the H100 in the front of the Prodigy.

looking good so far ;)

Thanks, enjoying it so far :)

OK so installing the back plate was pretty easy, a bit fiddly getting it to line up nicely first time but got it on.

I have added my motherboard to the tray and plugged in the 24pin, 4pin cpu and SATA power cables.

Here are my Gentle Typhoon 1850s ready to go.

Installing the H100 was a bit fiddly but finally got it all lined up straight so I could screw it all in......

.....then I realised I had put the top fan back to front, bugger. An unscrew and a rescrew latter it was all looking good.

Finally all I had to do was mount it to the CPU. Easy Peasy lemon Squeesy.

I also put in my SATA data cables and tucked the excess away in the PSU cage.

It's not too messy cable wise at the moment, looks quite nice I think if the hosepipes going over the top like it does.

I want to get some shorter black 15cm SATA data cables to replace the red ones.

Up next, sorting out the fan cables/side panel connectors so they are not too messy and connecting that all up.

Why did you go with the H100 on the front and not the top mate?

Also, those sata connectors are in a pain of a place on that board. It's never going to be super tidy with how you're going to have to tun the cables.

Went with it in the front so it pulls in potentially cooler air from the outside rather than blowing warmer air up from inside the case. Also I think it looks better in the front.

As for the SATA cables, I know it will never be 100% tidy but being shorter and also black will hopefully help them blend in a bit more.

Will update post with final lot of pictures and my thoughts so far later this evening.

OK so last post followed by my thoughts so far:

So I have plugged all my fans into the H100 controller.

Bit messy with the GT 1850s but will get some black fan extension cables at some point to tidy that up a bit.

I then put in the front panel USB/Audio cables

What I am going to again is use extensions to tidy those up and will cable tie and store the rest of the cable in the 2.5" drive mounts on the side of the case.

Next I put the side panel on, I also ran the power/reset cables along where the SATA cables are to keep things tidy. Also I didn't attach the LED cables, didn't want them on and flashing away.

Finally I installed my graphics card

I had some braided extension cables so fitted them as I think they look nice.

So that is my build complete. Short and sweet really :)

Onto my thoughts:

I'm really liking the H100, although not really needed for my CPU in the future I will replace the Motherboard and CPU for a high end MITX board and CPU for overclocking goodness. I think though the H100 looks really good in this case, I didn't really fancy a big heatsink sitting in the middle of my motherboard anyway.

It keeps my CPU at around 30c idle, haven't stressed it yet though (got up to 40c in Football Manager 2011)

One thing I do need to sort out soon is the cable extensions, just to tidy it all up really and have a bit less clutter around the motherboard.

I am also thinking of getting a couple of 12v to 7v cable for my GT 1850s as they are a bit louder than I thought they would be, Only air noise but anything to get it a bit quieter would be good :)

I'll probably get a couple of Zalman RC56 cables for this to see how they do. If this doesn't work then I'll give the SP120 Quiet Editions a go.

All in all though, I am very pleased to have downsized to this build from my massive ATX system.

Any question or comments fell free to post :)
