I'm transferring my build from a P183 case to a Bitfenix prodigy and was wondering what the best way to arrange the fans is. I've only got the two stock 120mm fans plus the h80i though I might have a couple of other 120mm fans lying around which I can also stick in until I buy some quieter ones.

Here are some options I can think of:

1. H80i on top as an exhaust, 120mm at the back as an exhaust and 120mm front as intake.

2. H80i on top as intake, 120mm at back as intake and 120mm front exhaust.

3. H80i at the back as intake, 120mm top and 120mm front as exhaust

4. H80i at the front, top and rear 120mm as exhaust

I'm not really sure what the best option is but I think it basically boils down to 3 problems. Is it better to run the H80i as an intake so the radiator gets the coolest air? Should airflow be front to back or the other way around and do the number of intake/exhausts need to match?

Thanks

I had mine on back as intake and a 230mm as intake on the front then roof fans pulling all warm air straight out of case.

Never had any problems.

Thats a clever layout.

Normally air flow is better front to back but the way prodigy is that seems a great layout to me. :D

The 230mm will move a lot of air, if its anything like my 180mm. :D
