Guys

Today, it gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of the latest case from BitFenix at OcUK

Prodigy M is a result of numerous design ideas and input from all of the Bitfenix key partners, System integrators and most importantly, customers.

You guys on the forum have cried out for a MATX format Prodigy case and Bitfenix have not let you down. Even taking design ideas from myself and 8Pack here at OcUK and improving on them to make a workable and very modifiable layout inside the already familiar Prodigy outer case.

The dimensions are the same and without looking at the rear, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between an original Prodigy and the Prodigy M. But that is where the comparison ends.

Prodigy M maximises internal space opening up room for higher specification systems with multi GPU support and attractive cable management options.

Be prepared to see OcUK pre built system ranges really taking advantage of what the Prodigy M has to offer.

Thats not all. Watercoolers will be beside themselves with the options that the Prodigy M unlocks. The larger motherboard form factor allows a lot more tubing route options within the case meaning this is a serious SFF chassis.

Take a look at the video from BitFenix where they highlight the big changes that they have implemented with this chassis.

Our Prodigy M Gallery is here and highlights some of the cool and innovative design features available on the Prodigy M.

In time there will be some new colourways and we already plan on making Prodigy skus that have front fascia swaps as soon as the stock lands.

It looks pretty good, like the SSD mounting on the back, out of sight.
Is this case much bigger than the ITX version?

I always thought the ITX was a bit too giant.

The itx version is pretty big so always had room for a matx board. As I mentioned in the news thread. This should mean people with the itx version might be able to use the windowed right panel on theirs so its windowed both sides.

How would you turn it on if you had window on both side? you could put the I/O panel on the other side and and the window on the right side (to show the components inside though)
Anyway its a nice little case.
The bottom is not filtered as far as I can see though, which will cause dust problems.

The window shouldn't effect the buttons I don't think. Im not near mine to see how far the left side window comes forward. Who knows it may be a different design or not fit at all.

No I mean...the I/O is on the right panel....how can you replace that with a windowed panel (and windowed panel on the other side) and still have the I/O?

Or do you mean a custom window panel with a window?

And yes it will fit, the dimensions are exactly the same, the only thing that has changed is the inside.

The I/O ports will still be on the right panel with a window In I would guess. The window should leave enough meat around it for the switches and USB etc to still stay in same place.

Really pleased with this, had considered changing to itx to get the original but glad I waited now! Stuck my pre order in, when we expecting stock?

Is there room in this for a H100? Planned on an ITX build in the near future but if I can squeeze a H100 & triple slot card (direct-cu style) in one of these that's great!

So when will it be available? Currently showing as pre-order.

While I'm asking such questions when will the Lian li v358 be out?

I sent them a web note and they said 3-4 weeks.I would prefer order but don't they take payment straight away??
