I've been looking for a smaller more compact case as my NZXT Phantom Enthusiast is beginning to feel like it is too big and a pain to keep moving for cleaning up my desk area. I also have a rather small room so when it comes to working on the Phantom it gets a wee bit tight for space on my room. Now I like the look of the Prodigy, it looks very convenient for moving about and to build in, my only concern would be if I were to install a corsair H100i would I be able to fit a Bitfenix Recon fan controller in the ODD tray? With or without modifying the 240MM radiators position, if not would the H80i be more than efficient? (I'm new to water-cooling but it is something I wish to get knowledge of)

240mm radiator up top will block the optical drive bay, same for the Prodigy M.

But to be honest the H100i is very quiet and you can control the fans speed by software, so you wouldn't need a dedicated fan controller.

Personally I find the Prodigy too big for Mini ITX and Prodigy M too restrictive for Micro ATX. Depending on the kit going in I think there's better options.

See I currently have a GTX770 and from what I can see this case has a good amount of room for graphics cards, the only
Parts I would be changing is quiet literally just the motherboard, if so what case would you recommend? I don't want something too small in fear of parts heating up, but small enough (like this size) to save a lot of desk room.

Silverstone Temjin TJ-08E?

It's Micro ATX, but no space for a 240mm rad so you'd have to go H80i. Sugo SG10 is smaller again, but still Micro ATX.

Sugo SG04 could fit a 240mm up front I think.

you have to remove the cage to allow space for the H100i, then you would need another way to secure your fan controller like an L shaped bracket. Fan controllers do seem to be a visual thing, especially if you have enough 3pins on your motherboard. cooling wise i have switched to the intel 120 liquid cooler and temps are no different. my only gripe with the prodigy M is that the rubber top and bottom things are too bouncy. if you move your case around then i would not be too sure if you could pick it up using them as handles. its just wide as a regular case too.
oh and is they had moved the motherboard tray into the middle a bit, up to the 120mm fan mounts at the rear, cable management and hard drive storage would be loads better!

To fit the H100i in the Prodigy requires the removal of the 5.25" bay, to fit the Recon you need the 5.25" bay.
