Hey guys,

in round 1 Diggsy, eyetrip, Raikiri were so nice to test the Raider for the community and gave some feedback.

As we take feedback from the community for which we make the cases very serious I have already forwarded all end user reviews to David so he can take a look and see what can improved.

In round 2 I would like to pick again 2 people that get the chance to receive the Raider for free and test it. This time the style should be that you should compare the Raider with the case you have been using currently.

If you want to have the chance to test the Raider and compare it with your current case please write a message below why you want to have the chance and also let us know what case you are using currently.

Good Luck - I will pick the 2 lucky guys in exactly 24 hours! :)

Hi

Presently I use a Lancool KC62 and am looking for a new case. Looking for something understated and black so the raider would suit. It would also be nice to test the raider with my antec kuhler 620 as I havn't seen a review with one of these fitted.

I would love to review the Bitfenix Raider.

I currently use a Zalman Z9+ case which is fantastic for the price but has a couple of drawbacks with the hardware I have.

Intel I5 2500k @ 4.4ghz
Asrock Ex4 Gen3 motherboard
Sapphire Toxic 6950
Antec Kuhler 920

I find the case and its features very good but due to limitations where I can place my radiator and fans it falls a little short.

I would love to have the opportunity to show how much a difference a small increase in price can make when purchasing a different case, in this case it would be the Bitfenix Raider.

I will document and photo my review, and add comparisons for cooling etc

Cheers

Si

I would like the chance because my current case is total piece of crap so the Raider can only come out looking good.! :D

This case looks amazing, after watching the review Overclock3D did on the case I decided this is the case I want for my new build and would love to be given the opportunity to do a review for your guys.

I am currently using Aspire X-Dreamer Blue Mid Tower Gaming Case which I have had since the 8th January 2005 and it's getting a little worse for wear.

P.S. I think this an amazing way for companies to advertise their products and it's a great way to get real reviews from end users that can share the pro's and the con's of a product for normal people.

Thanks Bitfenix and I hope that other companies give the idea a go also.

I would love to get one of these cases for myself and also would love to get it in order to do a full in depth review with photos (I love reviewing items! :D)

The reasons I want this case is due to my current antec sonata 3, it just isn't doing the job to my expectations any more for temps, features, cable management and most importantly being very limited to certain GPUs that aren't any bigger than 10.5" and a lot of other little things. I have had this case for about 4-5 years now :o. I only have 1x120mm antec tri cool fan (can flick between a low, medium and high preset for the RPM of the fan as well) at the back, there is room for 1x120mm at the back of the hard drive cage (in other words, the front of the case) but that would mean even less room for the GPUs.

The rig/setup, which would be going from the sonata 3 to the raider is as follows:

  • i5 750 @ stock clocks
  • GA-P55-UD3
  • 8 Corsair XMS3
  • HIS 4850 IceQ4 Turbo 512MB
  • Antec Earth Watts 500W power supply unit
  • 4 hard drives, 2 are eco green drives

The raider looks and judging by others reviews sounds just great for me as it improves upon all those bad areas of the sonata 3 and it will be interesting to see/hear what the noise levels are like as antecs sonata series is known for quietness.

I could also compare a few things to a P182 as well (pretty much the same components being used in it as my own rig), which is still regarded as one of the best cases overall.

To get an idea as to how I would review the raider case, have a look at these reviews by me:

Razer DeathAdder 3500 dpi Edition:

Gelid Tranquillo Rev.2 CPU Heat sink:

In this review you can see what my current setup/case looks like and for the temps/cooling testing, that is how I would test and layout the temps comparison between my sonata 3 and the raider.

Thanks for another chance to win this case! Hope I am lucky enough this time! :)

We were but i think most of us missed out again :( ahh well, guess its time to buy a Silverstone Raider 03 or a NZXT Phantom instead for my Rig :) Gotta get my temps down a bit more, was interested to see if the Raider would have made a significant improvement.

Just wondering kul1, are we getting emails back to just let us know that everything was received and is ok? Just want to be sure, I didn't mess anything up when sending the email :p

Thanks :)

If you don't mind me asking mancubus, what was that issue?

The one thing, which has worried me slightly, is that anyone could send an email saying that they are nexus18/mancubus and send their own address instead, however I am sure that if kul1 received 4 or more emails from people saying that they are nexus18/mancubus, he would have posted here asking us to directly contact him via trust or something :p
