bitfenix recon temperature sensor 5 not working

And because of sensor 5 not working I can't change the fan speed on that fan???? It's stuck on full speed I just installed a new Mobo yesterday so since that upgrade the sensor hasn't worked?.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Do you need the probes to be able to change the fan speed?
