RESOLVED: BitFenix Ronin - BIOS not beeping

Hi
I'm using Bitfenix Ronin in new build.
Everything is working fine but BIOS does not beep at all.
I cannot find any lead from the front panel (or anywhere else) to connect to the Speaker section of the motherboard front panel header.
The only leads in the case to connect to the front panel header are
- power switch
- power led
- Reset switch
- Hard drive activity
- USB 2 and 3
- audio

All are clearly marked and none is marked speaker.

How do I activate the speaker?
Am I missing something?

You're going to have to buy a speaker because you don't get them on cases any more. Which is frustrating because only the top-end boards have readout displays to check BIOS for BIOS issues.

Hi stulon / LePhuronn
Thank you for the replies.

I'm obviously way out of date on this - my excuse is that it is 7 years since I last bought a case!

The beep is a bit of a nuisance but it can be useful if a problem arises.

I had a look at BitFenix website and they don't show case speakers on their list of accessories. I couldn't see one either on Overclockers.

If I wanted to fit one, what am I looking for and can you suggest where I might get one please?

Thanks again

Thanks everyone.
I know now what to get and I've seen them advertised on wooh there, no competitor names

thanks again.
I'm marking this completed

Hi stulid
My apologies for that - thoughtlessness on my part.

And; I had my old case to one side to be recycled. So last night I opened it up, removed the onboard speaker and fitted it to my new case - works fine.

Thanks again
