I'm thinking of grabbing a bitfenix shinobi to replace my current case as I'm not to keen on it any more.

My question is, how will it be with a 2600k and two 560TIs. Will there be enough cooling and will it be big enough?

Also, is the side window clear or smoked?

Thanks, Antony

Cooling in the shinobi's isnt great tbh. I have the xl version and used to run sli gtx 470's in it. Due to the closed nature of the front panel, airflow is pretty poor in it.

How would in compare to the cooling in a 600T?

I want a new case that looks quite nice but is cheap to replace my 600T but I need good cooling due to having SLI.

Why are you getting rid of your 600T? It's probably miles better than the Shinobi cooling wise, space wise and neater in terms of cable tidying for better airflow also.

I just don't like it. Because of the shape none of the panels line up properly. Gets really annoying while you look at it and just see gaps everywhere.

Airflow's slightly better in the normal than the XL, but none the less I'd be buying some aftermarket fans for it at the very least... 560's aren't particularly hot...

My 560TIs that both have after market coolers hit around 80/84 in Sleeping Dogs. And I would be using Spectre Pro fans for any case I get.

If anyone can recommend a cheap but still great quality case it would be appreciated. I want a switch 810 but there expensive.

What's the budget?

For around £50 I'd recommend the Shinobi/300R/Zalman Z9
For £50-70, I'd recommend Fractal R3/R4
For Sub £100 I'd recommend CM Storm Trooper or RV03, maybe the Corsair 500R, but it's just not as good as the other two...

(RV03 is the best of all of those air cooling wise(IMO), but isn't great for WCing..)

Thanks KD, well the budget would be as cheap as possible. Which ones there would offer better cooling than a 600T?

The RV03 or storm trooper would do...

Storm Trooper would have potential to watercool in future, but to be honest, if you really want an 810, you might as well keep the 600t for now for a couple of extra months...

I don't have a job atm so without selling my Phantom, and the two 600Ts that I own I'm stuck with it. Just trying to make up my mind about what case I actually want as I'm extremely picky and there isn't anywhere I can go to look at any. Not even sure what the Switch 810 is like.

I've watched every one of those videos and they are the main reason I own the 600T now. I cannot get an idea from watching a video, they explain features and what not very well but things like finish and build quality cannot really be assessed through a video. I loved the 600T but after a week or two it just got a little annoying the way nothing lines up right.

Well Lian Li are the best quality cases, but they tend to lack other features some times...
Silverstone's quality is on the up, very close to Lian Li's now a days, and tends to have very good features as well...

I'm not one for white thank god haha. It's both a blessing and a shame the side panel isn't in stock haha. What are Cooler Master like for cases and customer service?

I've had an on going issue with NZXT and a Phantom 410, been trying to get it fixed for around 8 months now and have still not gotten a solid reply. They either ignore me or close my ticket for no reason. Hopefully they sort it soon or I'll be phoning someone to sort it for me.
