i was planning on buying a full set of bitfenix sleeved cables for my new build and was just wondering if they would be worth buying instead of going through the hassle of sleeving my own cables, i assume i just feed my psu cables behind the mobo tray and then connect them on and feed them through to the components.

I'd prefer to sleeve my own, but there's nothing wrong with pre sleeved ones. Not as good quality imo, but saves hours!
The other problem with bitfenix cables is that they are extensions. this means you got a but tonne more cables to hide behind your motherboard.
Personally i love braiding my own. use paracord to braid and you will get the best cables you've ever seen

Or actually get some nice braiding rather than the para cord

Paracord looks like shoe laces to me.
