Bitfenix Spectre 20mm + 650D

Hi all,

*title should say 200mm*

I just bought these fans for my case and I am just installing them when I notice that, for this case, they can only be installed on the front if you want the fan to extract air! I cannot install them to intake air! On the original case fan, the screw slots are the same width as the fan so the screw can actually hold onto the fan, but on the Spectre's, the screw hole is only on one side.

What a shoddy design!
Could go for longer screw or bolts or something?

If I were you I would return them within your 14 days and get something different which works properly

I use a spectre pro 200mm in mine no problem get it swapped over or buy some longer screws.

I just installed a Spectre Pro to my 650D and had no problems.

I guess I will be returning them. I just installed the megaflows I had purchased previously and they are dead silent at full speed.

Haha I bloody knew it. I was having a tidy of my room and noticed dust on the wrong side of the fan and then realised it was chuck air out and not in. Wondered why my gfx temps where high.

So need to buy the pro fan then. Guess I have a fan to put on MM now haha.
