Bitfenix Spectre Pro Fans

Agreed - poorest performing fans I've ever bought tbh. They show the highest static airflow for 140mm fans, but their still crap! Scythe GT's with convertors for teh win

You never asked :p

You're using fairly slim rads, so I guess keeping them at 1000rpm or so will be ok. Depends on how bothered you are by them at higher rpm.

Dnt touch them I brought bitfenix colossus case and thought the spectre pro would look nice well look nice they do but as far as cooling goes what cooling? And to echo everone else there noisy biggest waste of money I swapped them all out couple months later shame really

Cheers fellas. I was hoping that they would be good, as they look kinda cool have the led option and also ive got a bitfenix fan controller that lets you turn the leds off if not wanted, but if the fan performance sucks I will try and get hold of some of the high pressure corsair fans.

Hi chris, using Zaward 900rpm fans[set to pull] in my loop with a Phobya 560 rad cooling > 920:4.2ghz / GPU 6970:950/1350mhz. Core temps never went over 60'c this was whem my room was at 26.5'c.

But l have a set of Prolimatech Blue Vortex Blue Wings 140mm 1000rpm Fan which move a lot more air, but more than happy with the Zawards.

Im not using the spectres yet uncle petey, I was looking for info and experiences with them as it was gonna cost me round about £60 for the new fans and I didn't want to pay out a load of cash for fans that were not that much cop.

Ive got a lamptron fc2 controller lying about so im thinking of using that now with some corsairs or possibly the gt's and maybe going with a lighting strip in the case for the occasional lighting display lol.

The only thing is the lamptron controller dosnt match the case as well as the bitfenix one colour wise

Not gonna touch the GT's, but these seem to be popular.
Never tried them myself...

YOUR BASKET
1 x Enermax Cluster UCCL12 120mm Fan £9.98
Total : £9.98 (includes shipping : FREE).

How are you finding the Spectre's?

they look nice ;)
finding the spectres decidedly average, noise ok, cooling-poor. the classy's chuck out an immense amount of heat at 1.3v+ and if i touch my case window, its nearly melting!!!!

may just get some GT's for the top and back(rads) and be done with it.

If they're anything like the Enermax TB Silence fans then they're pretty poor airflow. The TB Silence ones were quiet, but the coughing asthmatic mouse analogy applies again. I think the Clusters spin faster though so should move more air, not sure of the noise though.
