Bitfenix Spectre Pro mounting

Hi,

Just received some Spectre pro 120mm fans and trying to work out how to mount them in my Lian Li v354 case.

The anti vibration rubber pins dont hold it secure, are you just supposed to use the screws to thread the holes in the fan casing?

Thought I'd check before I did so!

You need to pull the rubber grommets through until they almost pop into place. They need a really good tug!

Will have to give it another go - was worried I would tear them in half trying to get it through!

Mine were in for about 6 months before breaking down. I had to remove them to replace the fan, made my fingers all nasty & black.

As above, pull them through or use the screws which will "tapout" a new thread in the plastic frame of the fan.
