So I haven't upgraded anything on my system for a while and I'm abit out of the loop on hardware. I need:

Decent sounding 2.1 desktop speakers for around £60

2-3TB external USB3 storage

250GB SSD (I'm still using a HDD) Will prices fall making 500GB more affordable?

GPU upgrade from a HD7950 at £250 mark

Thanks.

Whats your total budget?

I don't know much about speakers and what to look for, mine are just an outlet for noise my PC makes.

This is pretty much what you can get at some of the lowest price points, I'm sure others can improve on it.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E250B/EU) £74.99
1 x Samsung M3 2TB USB 3.0 Slimline Portable Hard Drive Piano Black (STSHX-M201TCB) £69.95
1 x Microlab FC 530U 64W 2.1 Speaker System Dark Wood Finish £64.99
Total : £209.93 (includes shipping : Ex.VAT).

The 850 EVO SSD is very highly regarded
I like Gigabyte's windforce coolers. I have a 970 Reference and can't fault the range. Or you could go AMD

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 WindForce OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N970WF3OC-4GD) £254.99
1 x HIS Radeon R9 390 IceQ X2 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H390QM8GD) £249.95
Total : £504.94 (includes shipping : Ex.VAT).

The MM might be a good shout too

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah around £200 or a tad more, excluding the gpu is around the area I want to spend. Im clueless about speakers and anything sound myself too. Are Microlab a good brand?

I may actually stick with my 7950 a while longer becasue it plays everything I've thrown at it for two and a half years, not bad for a MM purchase.
