My undertray was damaged some time ago by a speed bump, beyond repair and had to be removed. Pug wanted something like £160 for a replacement, but I was told by the (Pug) mechanic that there was no problems driving without it.
Now, the problem I have now is that all the associated bits of plastic that it was attached to have started to work themselves loose, to the extend that one of the bits of plastic joins onto the inner lining of the wheel arch. This lining is no out out of place, and rubbing my wheel when full lock is applied.
It looks like I have a choice of removing and/or cutting away any bits that I'm not able to secure, or replacing as much of it as I can. The way the undertray attaches from what I gather, seems to hold much of it in place, that I think thats a good start. But some of the clips and bits of plastic are damaged also, so I may need some of these bits also.
I've looked on eBay for a donor car, and have only found one. I'm also going to ring around some scrappies and see if they have any bits.
but is there anywhere else online I could look for these bits?
Any help or advice, much appreciated. Thanks
(Pug 307 btw)
