Hello,

I am thinking of putting Linux (probably Gentoo) back on my server/download box, but I want to be able to download .nzb's or .torrents from my Windows computer, then put them on a Samba shared drive, and have it automatically start downloading without me, though I want to be able to check its progress (either through SSH or a Web interface) so obviously it can't be a GUI type program.

The way I do this at the moment is with a shared drive, uTorrent, Newsbin and RDC.

Do you know of two programs that would be able to do this?

I'd be interested in knowing this too. I currently use XP with Newsleecher as my reader and for processing my .nzb's... I would like to use linux but the machine is my download box so needs to be able to handle .nzb files (might as well use them, I pay for them!)

Though I'd be happy with apps having GUIs (almost preferred actually).

I did find this which highlights a few linux programs that maybe able to utilise .nzb files http://docs.newzbin.com/Newzbin:NZB_Guide

Bit more readin revealed this : http://www.hellanzb.com/ which is command line effectively, automatically starts downloading when a nzb is added to a monitored directory, checks, repairs, unrars all automated.
