Having a problem with a couple of machines at work, they are Windows XP Professional, running Outlook 2003
3 of the machines have developed an issue where any email with any sort of attachment just wont send - it sits in the outbox and times out connection to the server. Their ISP and mail providers (easily.co.uk and mistral) have both been contacted, one saying the issue is nothing to do with them (as recieving is fine) and the other claiming that there is no problem whatsoever.
Other machines on the same network with the same setup work fine, this problem has increased from temporarily happening on one machine to 2 and now 3, for no apparent reason. The attachments are a range of sizes from a couple of kb to 1/2mb.
They have a contract with PCWB who have spent hours looking at the problem and say they cannot do anything about it.
I am about to try a third party mail program, does anyone have any light they could shed whatsoever on this issue? any suggestion is welcome!
thanks
