Noon all,

Rang Akasa yesterday to set up an RMA on a PSU I bought from them a while back off eBay, brand new. Since i've been through an RMA already with the exact same power supply using my Paypal receipt I though this one would go smoothly too. I rang them yesterday and he said he'd e-mail me the RMA address for them as I needed to provide POP, which I again did.

Now i've recived this e-mail:

Hi Pat,

I’m afraid since we last time replaced the PSU for you the situation has changed singinficantly.

As the ebay shop “itpartstoreuk” has been selling goods stolen during burglary to our warehouse we no longer honor the warranty on the goods bought from this particular retailer and we have already notified police about the dealings of this shop.

Since the power supply has been bought less than a year ago please contact the retailer regarding their RMA policy.

Sorry for the unfavorable reply.

Regards,

Jerry

Absolutely no idea on what to do now, they won't honor the RMA as the place I bought it off has apparently stolen from their warehouse. The thing is, this isn't my fault and I would have assumed that legally they would still need to honor it.

Can't even find the seller on eBay anymore, **** sake.

Will try through PayPal once I get home from work. But how was I supposed to know that it was stolen? If I had knew that then I wouldn't have bought it. I always try to take care when buying off eBay, thoroughly checking feedback and seeing if it's a legitimate seller/business.

Fml...

Thanks for the replies people. What should I write down as a response though? Something along the lines of 'you've already replaced the one I bought from there so you're legally obliged to replace this one?'

Though Akasa were meant to be a good, reputable brand. Honestly, i've got RMA's coming out of my ears at the moment. Trying to RMA my BFG 295 with the gormless U.S staff and now this.
