BK Gemini Sub broken (fixable?)

I have a BK Gemini sub that when powered on, sort of goes "Brupp brupp brupp" repeatedly.

BK Elec said it's probably a faulty capacitor, and they said they would send me out some pics on which to replace, but never did.

I have sent a chaser, but wondered as it was a popular sub whether anyone here knew? Sounds like a common issue with them...
 
tbh in 5 years u r the 1st person i have ever seen post with a faulty/broken BK sub

i would carry on hassling BK for the pics, if u are confident enough to replace it
