I just started playing this game and it's the most fun I've had in ages, slaughtering the civilians with fire or watching them crawling on the floor choking and then dying from overworshipping me. :p

I never really got into it - I remember looking forward to that game for ages, then finding out it was more like a cut-down Sim City. Your worshippers were moaning little barstools and nothing was ever good enough.

Plus, you were so busy tending to their needs you never got a chance to spend time/train your helper monkey who'd just end up eating rocks and poo'ing on your people.

Being a god should be about smiting and performing miracles, not building houses and telling people who should get jiggy with who.

I thought it was great when it first came out, really enjoyed. But as soon as i completed it i never played it again.

Still was a good game just lacked the lastability factor.

I have B&W 2 but havent got around to playing it much. I did like the first one though, was very funny. I made sure my God was evil :D

I remember running this on my old Pentium II with some sort of graphics I didn't really know, ran pretty well really... Was a fun game, but the controls became clunky when you got into the later stages.

Well the fun was shortlived lol, seems to have quickly turned into simcity. Level 3 just seems to be building houses constantly to increase population and thus expanding my area of influence so I can cast some spells on enemy villages to give me a petty 50 belief out of the 1000 required while my villagers complain about not having any offspring/food/wood etc, while my creature (he or she?) is trapped on the other side of the map. :(

Ah yes, level 3! That level annoyed me so much that i went evil just to complete it. :D

Theres only 5 levels and you don't get your creature for one of them. From level 3 onwards it did become much more simcity based.

Creature Isle is by far the best of the three B&W Games IMO (Being B&W, B&W CI, B&W2).

B&W2 is a load of poo to be honest, you're too busy defending yourself to have any interaction with your creature other than getting ti to smash stuff/stomp on enemies.

Heh, same sentiments as most of you guys really.

Got the game and thought it was the best thing ever and then when I got to the 2nd and 3rd islands it soon started to get boring and frustrating 'hella fast.
