Hey all, currently running a 3 monitor setup with 2x22" and a 24" in the middle.

The 24" is currently my Primary desktop. I wanted to change this so one of the side ones was, but when I do, I get this awful black border around my wallpaper on my middle monitor. Almost as if the wallpaper isn't big enough. Obviously tried stretching the wallpaper and all that jazz, no luck.

Googled around a bit and seen a few people with the same problem who have solved it by turning off overscan in the Catalyst control panel - I don't have that option. :(

I'm using 2x Radeon 4890s.

Any help appreciated.

look in ccc/digital flat panels/scaling

and move the slider till borders disappear

you should have that option,if not look in the monitors menu for the same scaling option

Hey Wazza, just had a look and the only scaling options in there are greyed out! Figured out that when I change the resolution from 1900x1200 to 1080p in the menu it becomes available again, but the resolution is screwed. I can change the scaling option around and then change res back but it doesn't do anything. :(

try custom res

look in ccc/digital flat panels/hdtv support and click add, then you'll see four arrows up down left right

click the down once/save and apply then go back to scaling and see if its unlocked

also look in the monitors menu panel it will be in there also,it is on my lg e2260

I can't see those arrows you're referring to. :/ Here's how my digital FP > HDTV Support screen looks:
