Hello,

I have a problem with a 5mm black border on the screen I cant seem to get rid of.

I've searched quite a few places, and its either a suggestion of the catalyst control center (no graphics card installed), resolution settings (tried various different resolutions and scaling combinations), or under scan/over scan settings. I've also tried settings on my screen, yet still there's always a border.

This has only happened when I connected my new screen (LG 27MP47HQ)
my only graphics is intels own HD4600.
Connected with HDMI.
Windows 10

Please help :)

Regards

You should be able to get a control panel for the intel graphics, is that what you're adjusting at the moment?

hi,
thanks for your reply,

If I right click... graphics properties, Intel HD graphics control panel opens, there is some settings in display.
I have also tried the control panel route. control panel...hardware and sound...display.

It sounds like an overscan issue honestly, can you try the VGA port? The LG site says the monitor has no DVI port. You might need to look into the screen settings on the monitor itself as well.
