Black border around screen

I have my radeon 5850 plugged into my sony bravia 32W5500 via hdmi and I get black borders around the screen (picture).
I want to use hdmi as it will plug into my sony receiver. It does same when plugged direct into tv or into receiver.

Windows 7 is set to 1920x1080 and I have ati drivers in.

You need to go into catalyst and turn off overscan

Catalyst Advanced > Graphics > Desktops & Displays > 'right click' the small image of your tv > Configure > Scaling Options > move slider to 0%

I have a panasonic tv and it has a setting in its menu to turn off overscan aswell

And make sure your TV is set to use 1:1 pixel mapping or whatever Sony has called it.

I have been thinking of buying a 42 inch 120Hz LCD HDTV to use as my gaming monitor, and I will take this into account when I do. Yay! Awesome thread!
