trying to put a black border no a leaflet in PS but im struggling, This im sure is so simple but i can't find it for the life of me. In pain i can but the image is too large so i cant make a black border.

thanks

also this is our leaflet that we will be handing out and delivering through peoples doors. The only thing remaining is a black border around the edge (unless people really disagree?). what do you think of it? would you consider if you were looking?

ps. the website isn't a real address, hasn't even been started yet, its just so we can see what it will llook like

we would have to see the leaflet first before wei could say if it would be best with or without a border :)

h'anyway, to do a simple border

create a new layer > press ctrl + a to select the canvas > go to edit - stroke outline selection.

set the stroke size to whatever you desire, then set the location to inside then press ok

prob cheaper tho ? with the amount of colours used when printing? i dunno just guessing...

hey just a thought you might wanna left align the text on the poster?

will have the site here soon for advice.

We are only 18/19 do you think its worth putting something about our age on the leaflets? if so any ideas? we think being young is good as we can work harder, faster, full of energy etc but not sure how we'd put this?

To be honest the single colour version is better than the colour in my opinion. It'll be cheaper to print as well. Also I i were you I'd left align the text. Centre aligned text always looks ameturish.

This is just me saying but the illustrator stock flower on the right looks out of place. I'd get rid of it.

dont mention your age it isnt necessary , probly not even legal now iirc you arent even meant ot put it on your CV anymore

besides old people or rich people who can afford cleaners dont trust young people :p

And the second line ('Are you...') is a question, not a statement. Therefore it could do with a question mark at the end instead of the fullstop?

the law deals with age discrimination - it stops employers asking for 'young, eager candidates' - it's not designed to stop people from volunteering their age if they want to. Think of it like race discrimination, but with age. You can put your age down if you want; personally I'd say it's irrelevent though (unless your under 16).
