Hi,

Switched on my pc today and upon loading WoW it crashed....and was forced to restart. Restarting i tried opening wow again and it loaded for a few seconds but with artefacts and then crashed again...

I tried 3dmark and it crashes straight away then had a BSOD and it automatically restarted....

Everything was fine last night before i turned it off....

My GFX card is a BFG 8800GTX OC (they oc it not me)

Timing are set manually to stock, cpu is not overclocked. Running XP

I did not install any new hardware or software and drivers are up-to-date

When drivers are fully uninstalled i get no artifacts anywhere...I even played a bit of counterstrike and didn’t crash or get artifacts whereas I did before. Now as soon as I installed a new download of nvidias latest drivers as soon as the installation refreshes my screen it comes back...

Please if anyone can help as I’m so confused on what’s going on....

EDIT:Got a P5K Deluxe and Corsair 620w PSU

the BSOD and the artifacts do sound like there may be a fault with the graphics card, you may want to update your graphic drivers just in case and see if that makes any difference at all.
you may want to try this tool http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner
it will tell you what driver it currently has, and how hot your graphics card is running at, you may want to check if its over heating etc. as a benchmark my 8800 is running at 54C and is working ok.

heres a image of what wow does:
