Just installed this from a retail DVD pack. 22GB, so not a small install!

Then UPLay loads up, and tells me I have to patch it before I can play - and the patch is 25GB! How do you manage to make a patch which is 3GB more than the entire game?

Its maybe downloading the full game again with the patch integrated instead of just downloading the patch.

It might even just be that its saying the patch will take your game install up to 25gb? So its a 3gb patch..

It also could be that it hasn't checked the current install yet. So you could go from 0 to 70% rather quickly.

I don't remember it installing a new 25gb when the patch was released (wow, real smoke!)

It says that but doesn't download that much.

Fair enough then! I admit, I didn't keep an eye on the progress bar, so no idea.
