Hi there, i recently bought a new pc from overclockers and i've noticed something a tad annoying, there seems to be black flickering in games. In crysis the trees flicker when i move, and in battle-forge the ground flickers when i move.

Any idea what this is, and how i try to fix it?

I don't get it, its just anti aliasing which is doing it =/

I had this with Duke Nukem Forever some transparent things were black. I went into the Nvidia control panel and went into global settings and clicked set to default and when I went back in everything was normal.

If that does not work then it might be a dodgy card or if the computer you purchased was overclocked it might be an unstable overclock which would both require you to contact OcUK support.

Urgh...

well, is there anything i can try and do to make sure its nothing thats easily sorted? I mean its only slight flickering and only when i move the screen, but still annoying.

You could try another monitor, cable, DVI port.

Reset the Nvidia control panel settings to default.

If the CPU is overclocked by OcUK the overclock settings are usually saved as a profile on the motherboard so you could safely set things to default so the CPU is not overclocked and test that. If its the same without the overclock you can use the profile to put the overclock back on.

Try some benchmark tools to check for artifacts such as 3DMark11, Unigine Heaven 2.5 etc... If you get it in everything then its most likely that the graphics card is faulty.

You could try the latest Nvidia beta drivers http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=2738

Make sure you choose custom installation and tick the clean install box.

That's all I can think of at the moment to try and sort it out.
