*****BLACK FRIDAY 2017**** Deal thread

Buying a TV is a mine field and I have been totally put off by it all if I am honest.

All this RGBW nonsense on these LG TV's along with having no idea about how it actually looks for a console along with the supposed amazing Sony 49XE9005 having judder issues on TV shows.

It's soured the whole experience of buying a new TV, couple with the fact the GF wont allow a 55" TV (Which is where you get the better TVs) based on panel structure and what not it really annoys me.

Obvious answer is to get a new gf.

Get a 55 anyway. Based off what we tell them she probably thinks it's going to be 3 metres across.

Canon 100‑400mm f4.5‑5.6L EF IS II USM & Extended Warranty & Cashback

Final price £1386..

Don't think i'd get a bteter deal on that tbh..
Where?! I got an email from a company advertising this price earlier, clicked on it and got taken to the website but price was much higher, so frustrating I've been searching for this lens at a price like that!

Went for the Panasonic 58EX700B @ £599 deal and Richersounds price matched JL in store.

May not have all the features of the better models but at that price for a 58, not sure if anything better.

Are you actually serious...if so that is ridiculous and you are in for a whole world of pain as your relationship goes on.

Very tempted with this and retire the plasma I've never liked

I am also tempted. Very tempted. But to replace a Plasma I love (Panny GT30).

Chaps, it's no GT series panny plasma but close enough and the 750 model is definitely better (@Django x2 replaced his GT10/30? with a 750) but then it's a 58" Panasonic and for £599 so it's a blinding deal. It is by far the best TV at this end of the market although the Samsung 55MU7000 at £799 is good but then £200 more.

I'm really impressed with this year's Panasonic TVs and have been looking for months. I was going to wait until Boxing Day and go for a 750 but meh.

Edit as looks like 700b out of stock and mu7000 store stock only.

What do you mean a world of pain?

She does have a point, a 55” Tv would be too big, I just want one because at 49” sacrifiyhave to be made and it’s annoying no one perfect 49” tv exists.
