Black friday deals?

For £500> and for it to still be a good deal, and also 'save you hundreds of pounds from buying the items seperately' There will have to be a 5930k, 32gb ram and a good motherboard...

Well I see the conversion to Americanism has completed.....

seriously what is this black Friday thing?

Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving in america where the whole family goes shopping and see's all the Christmas trees and displays and looks for deals. It used to be a fun , but then company's got a hold of it and turned it into a "Get the best deal you can day! The only reason it's here in Europe and the UK is because they see £ Money! Money, Money! They want to capitalize on it too

Ah, Greed! Just like Xmass is now

Should have known .

Some deals on Overclockers would be nice and some price drops in general - Ive just spent the best part of 2.5k on a new system and one of you competitors was over 150 pounds cheaper - so they got the order. Overclockers should price match and offer better deals generally.

Seems like the 390 is going the be the real ringer. 980ti not having any special deals plus 390 already being competitive price wise and having good overall performance could be well worth the snipe if there is some good deals to be had on it.

If I wasn't set on pascal / next amd chips I'd be readying a freesynch / 390 purchase for a steal. Something tells me the Nvidia cards will sell more anyway but hopefully there's good deals on each end.

Is it worth me buying a wheel now or waiting until next week?
Assetto Corsa is calling me...

I got a G27 from the indians/computer world for £150 last year and sold it recently as never used it, wait until next week and grab a G29 if you want it :p

Sadly I will miss some of the deals next weekend as I'm off on holiday on Friday night, will see whats up on wed/thurs/fri though, nothing exciting by the sounds of it anyway, well for me anyway, 4k G-sync might have peaked my interest though but doesn't seem likely. Maybe get something in America over the weekend. Will still get excited though!!

So G-SYNC IPS panels pretty much out the question.

Hows about returning the Acer X34 back its original release price of £950 from £990. Go on Gibbo have a heart, I will blow my promise of not spending more than £650 on a monitor if you do this. Thats at least one extra sale that wouldn't happen otherwise. :)
