The world goes crazy in 3 hours, just got back from the local Mall and the car parks are almost full, most stores dont even open till 4am. Im hitting Old Navy when it opens at 12 am. The queue at Toys r us is already around the building lol
Heres hoping i dont get beatup from some old lady over a cheap Jumper.

What's this? I'm going into town tomorrow, is it going to be packed?
Edit - Just wiki'ed it. American nonsense, isn't there an overclockers.co.us? :p

fixed, does black friday really happen anywhere but the USA? Most of us just grab the same deals when they are available throughout the year, without the trampling, shootings and lack of sleep using that new fangled internet thing.

Well I resolutely refuse to get involved with that nonsense and will be heading out to surf in hopefully uncrowded waters :p

I'm going to venture out with the wife and try and get some deals on the the overpriced chinese plastic **** I am obliged to provide each Christmas. Like this thing.

Black Friday automatically upgrades my Situational Threat Awareness Status Assessment Level from BLUE to YELLOW, so I am upgrading my usual glock 26 carry peice to a glock 19 with 2 spare magazines for tonight/tomorrow.

I am jealous that you can surf at this time of year, I fell flat on my arse at work on black ice a few hours ago, not an enjoyable experience. I'm glad it's in the US, almost panicked, actually planning to do the majority of christmas shopping today so I'm not rushing around last minute like I seem to every year...

Black Friday is the biggest disappointment ever, unless you're willing to queue for hours then you won't get the best deals as shops run out of stock very quickly.

If you look at a lot of the small print in the adverts it says 'one per store', so half the time it's just an excuse to get people in the doors so they buy other things at the same time.

Never heard of it.
Same here. Someone mentioned it at work and I thought 'Black Friday' whats that? An unscientific poll of the office indicated that most people had never heard of it. Not much to choose between Xmas sales, January sales, Easter sales etc. Only one sales really count and thats Steam sales:D
