Black Friday - Worth the wait ?

Currently sitting with a build ready to order on my wish list. Absolutely itching to press order, but with Blackfriday around the corner, is it worth it to wait?

New here so never experienced a BF on OC’ers, for those that have been here, is it worth the wait? Am I likely to either save a fortune, or push the components in my basket up a level for better ones for the same budget I have ?

I disagree, the black friday bundles that 8Pack and OCUK normally put out are good. Picked up this bundle for around £500 black friday before last:

Nope. Unless you're after a slightly discounted Polaroid TV that you need to win a Battle Royale in order to secure, then the BF sales are always a disappointment.

Theres no one answer. The origin of black friday as I understand it is a kind of fire sale to clear shelves for higher margin goods over xmas which for many companies is a majority of their sales. In tech I dont think xmas is as important, if a company has stock they want to push out maybe EOL then bargains are possible. But then you have to want that EOL already, I wouldnt go out of your way but if you dont mind waiting then its a bit of fun and maybe some random discount matches what you wanted anyway

Overclockers (THIS WEEK ONLY) have deals all week long. As well as their daily deals. So they have deals all the time. Just buy anything on your list right now if it's on sale and pick up the rest by Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
