Black Hawk Down - green tint?

There is a proper green tint in some of the scenes in Black Hawk Down, is it supposed to be like that?

I think its to make the blood, look more like oil in some parts?

That is strange. I don't recall ever seen green tint on any of the versions I own, always the blue hue.

It's mainly in the city scenes, but not when they are running out of the city at the end.
