Black Label Sociery UK tour cancelled

Gutted, I only just found out! I went to Ticketmaster to land a couple of tickets now that I've been paid, turns out the tour has been cancelled

A quick read over at www.blacklabelsociety.net forums reveals it is because Ozzy is recording/touring and it will clash with the BLS tour.. so BLS pretty much had no choice but to drop the UK tour. I'm pretty hacked off tbh, I've been a Zakk fan since he joined Ozzy, I have every album he has done and now it's the second time gigs/tours have been cancelled. I know he has an absolute level of devotion to Ozzy and that's cool, it is just a shame he had to ask "How high?"

OT - the band that are supporting BLS on their US tour are a band called Black Stone Cherry, they are DEFINITELY worth a listen. You may have noticed my sig, I heard them a few months ago when I was checking out some live BLS US tour details and they are fantastic. They are a lighter version of BLS, mixed with maybe the Allman Brothers - check out their website: www.blackstonecherry.com and preview the track Rain Wizard

Didn't they cancel last time because their Hells Angel insignia was similar to some chapter in England and they had threatened them?

aye, I think so, didn't they threaten to turn up at the gig and start knifing people if they didnt cancel :eek:

Proof if any was needed that the whole BLS aesthetic and 'lifestyle' is pathetic and superfluous to requirements.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 100 pints of beer he has on stage are coloured water.
Its not big and it ain't clever but I do like the music.

I didn't know they were touring the UK, but they are one of my favorite bands and I would have liked to have seen them... But argh. :mad:

Actually I could take this chance to ask a question that's been plaguing my mind.

Does Zakk tour Book Of Shadows? Because altough I love BLS, his solo albums are just phenomenal, Book Of Shadows especially. Would love to see him do them live.
