Just wondering if anyone has played this game?

It's a fun little space game, fighting, trading etc written with a load of json files, few DLL's and a couple of Exe's. however the download locks you to level 18, you then have to buy the game via an in game link in order to unlock it.
Problem is that the link in the game doesn't seem to work at all, just does nothing for me when I click it. Doesn't seem to be any other way to unlock it online. Website hasn't been updated since 2011 and facebook is just as dead.
I've emailed the devs via the supplied email address but no luck.
Anyone else got the game? had similar issues or has managed to find a way to unlock it?
