Yes I think I'll be giving it a try.

Lots of people compare it to a Soulsbourne, which I'm not really into (I got about 47hrs into Elden Ring before getting a bit bored and dropping it), but I read one comment somewhere saying the devs said this is more like God of War, whatever that means (never played that either). It looks good either way.

Looking forward to it, but with apprehension. Looks like a title which could suffer from performance issues so am waiting on feedback post release before pulling the buy trigger

Black Myth: Wukong got a new patch which adds an in-game map, brings new challenges, tweaks bosses and improves performance.

The devs claim that this patch will also enhance the performance of Full Ray Tracing on GeForce RTX. As such, the game should run even better on NVIDIA’s GPUs.

Only with DLSS ( using a 4090 FE ). I switched off frame gen as the added latency interfered with combat on harder enemies.

Want to try this again with the new patch but.... can I be bothered

Was previously playing it on 4K and getting 100fps+ using frame gen otherwise it was around 75-80fps with just DLSS if I recall, will just install and see what the new patch does for performance.

New performance patch is gonna be 5000 series with MFG lol

That's not it else it would have said multi frame gen, this is specific to path tracing performance boost on RTX cards.
