BLACK OPS error Isuffient free disk space

Hi Forum,

Just installed black ops this morning (i know better late than never)

Getting error saying as above

Please free at least 5mb of free space on game drive

Any Ideas done a uninstall and reinstall still the same

I don't know if I understood you correctly, but you do realise that between uninstalling and reinstalling you have to clear sufficient space on your drive for the game? Although 5MB does seem a weirdly small amount.

If he is 5MB short of the full need 12GB space then he is 5MB short.

Weird thing is I have 100gb spare on one drive I have tried and 417 gb free on the other,

Ive found a problem relating to COD4 with space issues something to do with the save folder access rights???

Then I can only imagine that for the installation the game needs a temporary staging area, probably on your C-drive.

I'd imagine that clearing a few MB on C could solve it.

Could be & maybe a C: proprieties Disk Cleanup maybe enough.
