Black ops Free Weekend AGAIN

Well its not that its so bad as such - tho last time I played they still hadn't fixed several game degrading issues.

But them throwing it out the door and then going on holiday for 2 weeks doesn't sit well with me.

I'm not a COD hater, i played Modern Warfare 2 quite a lot when it first came out but i found Black-ops to be inferior to MW2 in every way personally. If they are going to keep releasing them every year there needs to be at least steady improvements or more content but this was just not worth it at all imo when you can play MW2 and get the same out of it

After playing BLOPS for a while, i've just played my mate on MW2, now people thought that was bad but after playing it again, it's far better than BLOPS.

Yes multiplayer only.

And I can't even download it, I click where it says click here to download and play and it does nothing

---edit---

Restarted steam and now it's installing

I've said it before but in my books, MW2 is unplayable due to FOV and absolutely terrible latency issues so Black Ops wins the contest by default. MW2 might be the better game if you can ignore the two huge problems I mentioned. I can't ignore them.

? FOV and latency are the least of MW2's problems (latency definintely isn't aslong as you get on a game hosted by a player with a half decent internet connection). FOV isn't great but its hardly game breakingly bad.

If you get a host on MW2 that's got a really poor connection or is downloading then it's pretty bad. But most of the time the latency is no worse than Cack Ops. Both games were designed to run on consoles and be locally hosted so the fact that Cack Ops is on dedicated servers makes almost no difference.

Dedicated servers for Cack Ops was just another revenue stream for Activision because they resticted it to one hosting company and no doubt a deal was done.

As for the FOV, that's pretty much the standard view for all FPS games nowadays if they are on consoles as well, so get used to it.

With attitude like that, it might be some day. But as of today, no, it's not standard. None of the fps games I play have FOV issues and I play quite a few of them. MW2 is one of the exceptions when it comes to FOV. I'm merely pointing out to those who can't stand low FOV, MW2 is one of the worst offenders. If you aren't bothered by low FOV, then by all means go for it. MW2 just might be the better (cheaper) bet if you are choosing between Black Ops and MW2.
