Bought on the ps3 not tried it yet or opened but having second thoughts as to whether it's worth it on the PC or not?

Dedi servers?

I cba anymore when I finish work I just want to collapse and play on the ps3 I don't know :/

Theirs your answer, if you don't want to be stuck in a cold room on your pc then play it on PS3. you can have a bit more fun just sitting back with junk food and a controller.

Much as I prefer shooters on PC, with some of the issues Ive had I have found myself thinking that I'd have been better off with the console version.

I tried COD MW2 on the PS3 after using my PC for FPS games for quite a few years.

I finished MW2 but it took some getting use to on the controller; as for the graphics I didn't really notice that much of a difference, but I tend to go on if its fun or not above all else.

Tried both, looks far better on PC and much prefer a keyboard/mouse myself. Had some PC performance issues first of all but they have thankfully been fixed with the patch :)

having seen the ps3 version in action the graphics dire compared to the PC

I was just about to post this.. The PS3 isn't HD, its less then 720, some 960 x 600 res or something.

It has fps problems as well, and if you must use a PS3 gamepad, well PC black ops supports gamepads.

Get the game on Steam or online somewhere. Grab your PS3 pad and plug in using USB, and grab motioninjoy.com PS3 PC gamepad drivers, install and emulate a 360 pad.

Install black ops and ramp the res up to whatever your screen can handle. Up the AA and enjoy HD black ops at should be around 60fps depending on your spec

I think they've fixed the lag issues in the game now. I don't normally say PS3 games are bad, but for this one... 360 and PC seems to be the better choice.. And I do love my PS3.

Still, use a PC and a PS3 gamepad. Best of both I say..!!

Pc for shooters , consoles for racers :)

I had it for 360 and took it back , the lag is bad enough without bringing "no dedicated servers" into the equation

My PC is in my living room and I don't have to constantly battle the wife for control of the "tv" ....

;)

Its a shame the ps3 has poor framerate issues as it should be on par with the 360 version but isnt. Always the way with mutliplatform titles it seems. I hear the PC version has its fair share of issues, but they are likely to be patched quickly.
