Am I doing something wrong? I have been playing this game for about 2 months and not once got the ray gun. I shoot all the orbs, shoot all the crystals, spend money at the mystery box above level 20-30, and not once have I got the ray gun. In sole or multiplayer. Maybe the guides from launch are outdated or the gun has been deleted on my copy

I haven't had it either but from what I've read it seems they've made it a lot rarer than in previous games and your chances of getting it should increase over level 30.
