Hi,
Just bought an ASUS P7P55D-E motherboard, and built my system. The CPU power socket has 8 pins, with 4 covered up, and my OCZ StealthXStream 2 500W only has a 4 pin. I put that into the uncovered 4 pins, and I just get a black screen, no bios or beeps. I googled it, and people were saying make sure your CPU power connector is in properly. This made me think that the issue was me only using a 4 pin connector. I was wondering if anyone could help me sort this out without buying a new PSU, as I don't have enough money.
Any help appreciated,
Matt
