Black screen flicker with 2 screens

Hi all,

So I've recently bought an LG 34" 144Hz ultrawide to go alongside my older 60hz one.
New one has freesync and has been working fine, until I've plugged my second screen in alongside and I now get random black screens for like 1 second or so on the 144hz one. It was just in games but it's now on the desktop too.
I've unplugged the 2nd monitor and the issue goes away?
Both are conneted via display port.

Any ideas?

does the gpu have a hdmi slot i would try that for the 60hz one.

Just tried HDMI, only goes to 50Hz as the monitor only has HDMI 1.4 annoyingly! I'll try a new displayport cable and see what happens

Random black screens is usually the cable. I mean don't ask me how that figures with your results, but I would make sure the DP cable for the 144Hz display is say a DP 1.4 ( which is a bit over the top but won't cost much more ).
