I'm running Windows XP on my black Macbook (intel core duo 2.0Ghz, 2gb RAM) using BootCamp. Every so often the screen goes completely black for no reason - no clicking on anything, opening programs, changing settings, etc. It seems totally random.
Strangely, the backlight stays on and the software is still running and responding to inputs (I can use keyboard shortcuts to shutdown/restart) even though I can't see anything.
This problem never occurs when running Mac OS X, it only ever happens when I'm in Windows. I've never been able to come out of it, I have to restart to get back to a normal desktop view. I have no idea what triggers it or what I can do to fix it.
Any ideas?
