Black screen when gaming and playing back video

Hay
So i have just installed some heatsinks onto my card (R9 290) , everything was fine before with no problems what so ever. After taking it out to put the heatsinks on i poiped it back in and now i have a problem. Temps are fine and have decreased on the VRAM. The only thing is if i play youtube or enter into a game from the start screen, i get a black screen and have to hard reset.
Does anyone have any ideas?

youtube has been fixed by disabling hardware acceleration. still no go on the gaming though

Does it happen if you lower the memory clocks?

What cooler are you using? sounds like the same issue i had using the Morpheus cooler, core temps were fine, Vrm temps, in particular vrm1 were much higher.

You'll need very good SP fans.
