Black screen when installing CCC drivers

9.10 seems to work fine any other CCC black screen during install and my monitor goes to sleep. Any reason why? Trying to install 10.1 drivers atm have tried a few others but the same.

Running Win 7 64 bit.

Mmm not really a good fix but I remoted on to my PC from my laptop to finish the install -.- Seemed to work.
 
did u have any nvidia drivers on your machine?

I've had a mad day. Uninstalled nvidia, rebooted several times, installed ati new card and 10.1

Rebooted into a hung windows starting screen, repaired windows startup, rebooting into a black screen.

Updated the bios, no go, updated the bios to some dodgy german version. Reinstalled windows and 10.1 and it's working

What the ...........

Yes mate, it wasn't based on what you said. I have been having issues with previous installs of updated drivers and the screen going blank. Tbh there had to be something wrong if it was doing that. Seems to be fine now though since a fresh install of Windows :) So I'm happy :) Also the annoying jerking I was getting in BFBC2 has stopped.
