Since switching from ATI to Nvidia I have had this really annoying problem which i cannot figure out.
If I switch to full screen with Windows Media Player, Youtube, VLC Player... the sound kicks in immediately but i get a black screen for about 5 seconds
Never had this with my 4870x2 and I have recently reinstalled Win7 but the problem is still there, even before installing any codecs.
I have tried pretty much all drivers since 262.99 although that particular one and a few others refused to install. All give me the same problem except for 290.36 which makes my screen flash when i try to watch anything in full screen.
The only way I can stop it happening is to uninstall the drivers and force windows to install the Standard VGA Controller
Has anyone come across this before as I am pretty much out of ideas?
Cheers
