Hi all,
I'm after a bit of advice. Basically I built a new PC for my wife and it has been pretty unstable so I contacted windows support to ask a few questions and the tech support took control of my PC and began making changes etc, unfortunately the pc crashed during this session and now the pc is even worse, I keep getting blue screens etc so I decided to reinstall windows. I tried doing the "reset this PC" but that always fails and no changes are made so then I created a bootable USB stick and when I try to boot from the stick I get the windows logo, followed by a spinning circle of dots momentarily and then just a plain black screen with nothing seemingly happening. ive tried two HdDs. Seems really weird! So basically I'm now making another USB in case the first one was at fault but I really cannot think of any other options, has anyone encountered this kind of issue before?

It sounds like you have a hardware fault as it was playing up in Windows and is now failing to boot a Windows install pen. Perhaps a faulty stick of ram? If you have two try one at a time. Can you remember what the blue screen error code was?
