Hello

I first had Asus GTX970 Turbo but this card was so loud that I swapped it for Strix, I played Just cause 3 which was fine however any other games like GTA V, Rocket league an Block and Load, monitor go black and pc freezes or there is sound in background, and monitor lose signal. In Block and Load in menu there is no problem but after game load it crashes and with Rocket League it crass straight away. I didn't have this problem with the Turbo version which I still have
Looking at log from GPU Z, temp and the rest is fine. I did clear CMOS and now downloading Heaven benchmark. I have latest Nvidia drives with clean install after removing gtx 970 turbo and disabled internet so windows 10 don't install them automatically.

Spec:
i5 4590
Gigabyte B85M-D3H rev2
SF HX 550W
win 10 64bit

What type of connection and cable are you attaching the GPU to the monitor.

Try reconnecting each end of the GPU/Monitor interconnect cable...and even try a diff output connection on the GPU.
I am thinking it is a signal transfer prob, rather than a hardware related one, unless it is the GPU to Monitor cable.

Connecting with DVI, but it works on just cause 3 but not on other games, and I noticed on nvidia forum a lot of people have same issue and even if I can hear sound, keyboard or windows don't respond

How are you hearing sound?
Do you have some other audio connection.

I ask, because I believe DVI connections do not carry audio, unless you are using a DVI to HDMI adapter at the graphics card end of many recent period graphics cards..and HDMI cable to the monitor.

It may be worth seeing how the DVI is set up in the Nvidia software.

Headset connected to motherboard, with rocket league I hear sound from game but computer is frozen and with block and load it's thath typical buzzing sound when pc freezes.

Launched Heaven Benchmark and again no monitor input after few sec, but watching movies or browsing web no problem and no crash

What res are you running the monitor at....
Could still be worth trying another DVI cable, if available, just to remove from the equation, it being a cable/ cable connection that has become degraded.

i had the same exact issue drove me nuts, turned out to be faulty RAM, increasing voltage managed reduce the incidents, but i had to ultimately get new Ram.
run a memory test if you can

I'm running 1920x1080, will check with different cable and will put turbo version back in to see if same thing will happen, did memory test and no problems detected, I have 2x4gb will run with only 4GB
